Installation Instructions

Work Area and Safety Steps:

A. The work areas should be dry, clean, and well ventilated. Use a smooth flat top work table that has a soft covering, such as an old blanket, so the slab can be easily moved without damage.

B. Wear work gloves, work shoes, and protective eye goggles. Use a protective face dust mask over your nose and mouth when engaging power tools or applying adhesive.

Handling:

A. Always hold Topstone at the edges to avoid dropping or mishandling.

B. Topstone cuts as easily as thick plywood so use care when working with power tools.

C. If you require 2 sheets, check first to be sure they are the same matching color and shade.

D. Check the Topstone surface carefully before fabricating to be sure there is no damage.

E. Use a mold plate for cutting an unusual pattern. This will provide more precision and allow for better sanding and finishing work.

F. Always use clamps to hold Topstone in place when using power tools or applying adhesive.
