STEP 6 ADJUSTMENT OF BORDER Starting at the center of the room - where the two chalk lines intersect - lay a row of tile to one end wall and a second row to one side wall. Measure the distance from the last tile to the wall. If it is less than 6”, move the center line 6” nearer to the opposite wall. Do this in both directions. All borders will now be wider than 1/2 tile and will be easier to cut and fit.   Next - Laying the Tile
