Halstead International provides a 10-year guarantee on Topflor
laminated floor covering.
This warranty is valid
from the date of purchase from the dealer and applies to the
resistance to wear of the decorative surfaces.
Conditions
The worn patch must be clearly recognizable or
the decorative layer completely worn away. The worn surface
must encompass at least 1 cm2. Instances of wear at the edges
of the element are excluded from the warranty.
The Topflor laminated floor must be laid professionally in accordance
with our laying instructions in dry residential or commercial
areas. Wet areas, such as saunas or bathrooms, are excluded
from the warranty.
Before and while laying Topflor, all laminated floor coverings
must be examined for possible recognizable defects; any rights
to claim under warranty become invalid after defective elements
have been fully laid.
To check the entitlement of a claim under warranty, Topflor
reserves the right to inspect the floor. Unusual and improper
stress or mechanical damage exclude a right to claim under warranty.
The warranty is also invalidated if the floor covering is not
cared for according to instructions with the incorrect cleaning
agents or methods. Warranty claims can only be accepted if the
goods were delivered by the dealer in the original packaging.
Warranty
A claim under warranty must be submitted within
30 days following the incidence of the defect on presentation
of the original receipt at the dealer. We are unable to provide
an extension of this period or more extensive demands, claims
or rights.
Should an incident occur which is covered by the warranty, we
will deliver goods to replace worn floor coverings free of charge
to the dealer. We reserve the right to repair details. Dismantling,
assembly and consequential damage are not included in our warranty.
If the product for which a claim is made is no longer available,
our customer has a choice from our current product range. |
