Laying Topflor Step 1 Lay the base correctly (see underfloor treatment) Put down the first Topflor panel with the groove to the wall. It is best to start in a corner and to lay from left to right. Use the Topflor spacers to ensure there is a gap to the wall (8 mm). Adjoin the panels in the first row without gluing them down in order to even out any wall and floor irregularities.
